What you see above is a hydraulic power twister. It's a device that strengthens your forearms, shoulders, broadens your chest, and builds up your back muscles. The prices for these vary wildly. There's no way to know which ones are genuine and which are fake. They look identical in photos, with only the color of the handle and the word "power" written on the body differing.
When the price is cheap, you wonder if you'll end up with a shoddy product. I bought one from AliExpress a year ago for 20,000 won. At the time, the purchase price was much cheaper than what domestic shopping malls offered. Now you can buy one on Coupang for 23,000-24,000 won. We sell them at Hemorium for 26,000 won. Below is the hydraulic power twister I bought around this time last year.

Once I actually bought and used it, there were no problems at all. I do have some trauma when it comes to Chinese products. It's a trauma stemming from IT products I bought about 20 years ago. It was an experience from the past where I felt strongly that I had just wasted my money and been scammed.
Those were products I painstakingly paid for after fumbling through Chinese, struggling to read it, and then waited for a long, long time to receive. After receiving and using the products, even if there was an issue, I couldn't call because I couldn't speak the language, nor could I write an email because I couldn't write the language. I remember being afraid to use slow-as-molasses tablet PCs because they would get so hot. And sometimes they would randomly shut down for no reason while working perfectly fine.
Anyway, despite a few painful past experiences, the power twister I bought from AliExpress last year and the drawing tablet I bought a few years ago have been problem-free so far.
I've been using a hydraulic power twister for over a year now, and there are still no signs of hydraulic pressure loss. If the hydraulic pressure were to leak, that would be the end of it. So far, its functionality is still the same as when I first started using it. Sometimes I use it up to 1500 times a day. When I bought the power twister, the price seemed incredibly cheap, and I was skeptical that I might end up throwing it away after only a few days or months of use, but I no longer have that doubt.
Even though we've only been using our Cuckoo electric rice cooker, a leading Korean brand, for two years, the keep-warm function is already unstable. For some reason, we can't seem to use electric rice cookers for very long.
What I've realized after buying and using several Chinese products in the last few years is that China seems to have made leaps and bounds in product manufacturing technology over the past 20 years. They seem to be doing a good job with quality control that meets international standards. The reason we decided to dropship Chinese products is precisely because the quality control in product manufacturing seems to be good. Therefore, we believe that we won't be selling products to a global audience and receiving complaints from buyers. Product sellers who receive too many claims from buyers get a lot of stress and don't live long.
I wrote this article today to create a pair with the second product review.
