Car Scratch Care Treatment for Fine Surface Marks

Refresh the appearance of compatible automotive paint with this scratch-care treatment, designed to help reduce the visibility of fine surface marks. Its sponge-applied format lets you work on a small area at a time as part of your car-care routine.

Focused Surface Care

The supplied description identifies fine scratches and surface roughness as the intended concerns. Results depend on the paint finish and depth of the marks. Complete scratch removal or restoration of a perfectly smooth finish is not guaranteed.

Know the Limits

This treatment should not be relied on to repair deep scratches, missing paint, exposed metal or dents. Compatibility with matte paint, wraps, protective films and specialized coatings is not established. Check the product label and the finish manufacturer's care instructions before use.

How to Use

1. Clean and inspect the area.
Remove dust and loose dirt before application so particles are not rubbed across the paint. Check whether the mark is superficial or whether the finish needs professional assessment.

2. Test an inconspicuous spot.
As a general precaution, test a small hidden area and check for discoloration, haze or changes in gloss before treating a visible section. Proceed only if the product is suitable for the finish.

3. Apply to a sponge.
The original directions specify pouring an appropriate amount onto a sponge. Follow the packaging for the amount to use; no measured dose is provided in the supplied description. Use a clean sponge suitable for automotive paint.

4. Work gently over the mark.
Gently wipe back and forth as described in the original instructions. Work in a small area and check progress rather than rubbing indefinitely. Do not increase pressure to force removal of a deep scratch. Stop if the finish changes unexpectedly.

5. Finish with a towel.
Wipe the area with a clean, soft towel as directed to remove remaining product and finish the surface. Inspect the result before any further treatment. No specific application time, drying interval or repeat-treatment frequency is supplied.
